A Lancashire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: "A senior fire officer was called to the Voodoo nightclub at approximately 3am on Saturday morning after we received a complaint about the safety of the building. An investigation is now underway. A prohibition notice can stop a business from pursuing an activity that is deemed to give rise to a risk of serious personal injury but it is not clear as to whether the club closed due to the notice. They say that this incident caused the club to temporarily close but that they have not reported the crime to Lancashire Police. The owner of Voodoo nightclub said: "We had cleaned up and closed up Saturday morning after the opening night and then I got a call later from a neighbour on the street saying our door was wide open.
It looks like they also went behind the bar and were throwing the bottles in the air and letting them smash. We did our utmost best to get everything in place again because speakers and amps were taken. The Voodoo club owner said: "We opened on Friday and it was really busy and went really well. We didn't have any problems whatsoever. It was a good atmosphere and everybody was happy.

The fire service came and did an inspection [on Saturday] but that was following the break-in. It's people trying to gossip. He continued: "We have had fire safety come out to the venue on four occasions within 24 hours due to hoax calls and we were fine to trade on all of them but for the last visit, which was Saturday, due to the damage done.
We were able to walk to the food and drink district within 10 minutes and his was walking slowly. I highly recommend I highly recommend staying here. Central hotel with friendly and helpfull staff. In the room there is not only free green tea provieded, but also coffee which I appreciated a lot.
In the lounge there is not only free w-lan, but also two computers that are freely accessable.
The restaurant sells exzellent food for nice prices. A very pleasant stay especially for me who has never before stayed in Japan A very pleasant stay especially for me who has never before stayed in Japan before and has no knowledge of japanese. We were a party of 5, so booked 3 rooms in total. From the moment we checked in, we were greeted by friendly and courteous staff, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There are free drinks at the lobby for you: coffee, tea, their There are free drinks at the lobby for you: coffee, tea, their in-house milkshake. Was a nice little touch after a long day of travel.
Yes also free. The hotel is relatively new, I think just over a year at the time of writing, so the rooms are spotless and clean! The bed was comfortable for all of us, and there was sufficient room for luggage, despite it being standard Japanese room size. I guess because we have stayed in Tokyo before, no room would be too small anymore haha.

Definitely recommended! We enjoyed our stay at Nishitetsu Grand Hotel very much. Location is great and breakfast is good too. We have some time before departure and had a great time sitting at the hotel lounge, enjoying afternoon tea with great service that also prided with it's beautiful garden landscape. I am a female solo traveler exploring Fukuoka and the hotel was in a nice location, close to convenient stores and restaurants.
It was really safe and the staff did their best trying to understand me. The tricky part was getting off the subway and from Exit 4 Tenjin Station , turning into this little alleyway to see the hotel beyond. I made a huge block turn thinkin I made a huge block turn thinking the little alleyway was not the right street to go to. Overall, I'd stay in this hotel again whenever I'm in Fukuoka since more restaurants, Bic Camera is just a couple of blocks away.
Just a tip, it might be a squeeze for two adults and lots of big luggage, then again, most rooms in Japan are compact. Location is conveinent.

Lobby lounge had a nice river view. But too bad for the price i paid , i didnt get a river view in my room. Overall very happy with my stay in this hotel. The hotel is located very close to Tenjin. One of the best locations you could find in the area at this price. The rooms are clean and nice. Great value for money. The staff at this hotel is the best, courtesy, polite and very very helpful. The location is good The airport bus is 2mins walk from the hotel and cheap.
Ask staff for information. Booked this room after reading comments about check in at another address. Still booked the room and was good to see they did something with the comments, check is now possible downstairs at the hotel. Further very spacious apartment and clean! Very friendly, English-speaking staff let us leave our baggage until check-in time we were changing from another hotel so we could go shopping. When we came back at our bags were in our room waiting. The room was small normal for Japan , but very comfortable.
The bed was just right - could have done with more pillows, but I never requested any so I don't know The bed was just right - could have done with more pillows, but I never requested any so I don't know if they are available. The bathroom was excellent, decor and comfort. It was very secure, access to the floors was only by elevator with your room card, and it automatically took you to the correct floor - no option to choose a different floor. I can only see this being a problem if you visit with friends and get rooms on different floors. The best point was location, right next to Tenjin and Daimyo, the best places in Fukuoka for shopping, eating and nightlife.
I will definitely go back to this hotel. Stayed at the Candeo hotel for 3 nights. Location was very convenient from the Tenjin station, can walk through the underground shopping area. Nice clean room, mattresses and pillows in Japan are generally on the firm side, and the Candeo hotel was no exception. Reception is on Reception is on the 9th floor. The breakfast hotel if purchased as part of a package is fair value.
The breakfast buffet itself has a variety of Western and Japanese mostly Japanese food available.

The sky spa located on the 10th floor is very nice, although there's not much of a view, except straight up. And I was never able to see the stars or moon through the clouds. Overall, super convenient location, decent breakfast, and the sky spa is a nice touch. This hotel has very limited paid parking and no gym. I would stay here again. Great staff!

The parking is a little tricky to understand but the staff had good english speaking skills and explained the parking to me very well. The expense of the parking is very reasonable and much better than street parking. The location is a little too south for walking to Hakata, Nakasu, or Tenjin in cold weather. The room and the included perks are amazing.
One of the best I have experienced in Japan. Even the smoking rooms do not smell like cigarettes. Very impressive. Will definitely stay again if budget allows. I had failed to book Asahi beer factory tour on the internet and tried to do it on the phone when I was in Japan. When I went down to reception, they helped me book and I had a chance to get a tour.
They were super kind and helpful.
They really saved my day. We stayed here three days, this is the best hotel I have ever stayed in Japan. The room was very clean and comfortable, the design of the room was modern, the room have enough space to open two luggage. The location was fantastic as many local food and restaurants next to hotel. You can find the local food at midnight also.
The services of the staff was absolutely wo The services of the staff was absolutely wonderful, we have never been treated with such care, feel like back to home, especially thank you one of the front desk staff - Mayu Murakami. She is the star in this hotel, she can speak fluent English and always help us to solve the problem. She also gave my friend a big birthday surprise, you light up our Japan trip, really love your friendly smile: It I come to fukuoka again, I will stay here again, also,I will recommended the b fukuoka tenjin to my friends.
Excellent in terms of value for money. The hotel is clean and comfortable. We have booked a 3-bed room and being given on the top of the building, which we can have a balcony, enjoying the beautiful canal view. The room is much bigger than the standard hotel. Other than 2 twin beds and 1 king size bed, there is a living room, dining room , kitchen and with a toilet an Other than 2 twin beds and 1 king size bed, there is a living room, dining room , kitchen and with a toilet and bathroom.
Facilities are quite new, microwave and washing machine is with additional value to us. Only limitation is the location, you can only take bus to Hakata or Tenjin and there is no nearby subway. Browse forums All Browse by destination. Las Vegas forums. All forums. Report inappropriate content.
