As we were leaving we were taken out a side door where we had to walk around the building to where my car was parked and my wife was sitting with our other child. I approached the ticket window to demand a refund but I was only greeted by the same gentleman who still refused to reveal if he was the owner or not, told me there are no refunds. Challenge Accepted was awesome! Me and my boyfriend were looking for escape rooms in our area, and as poor college students, price was a big factor.
Staff is very helpful and enthusiastic about their job, and is thrilled to explain all the little secrets after you escape. Will be back every time they make a new room! Score: 4 out of We visited this attraction on the last night of their season I believe. We did show up late about 20 minutes before they closed and it was dead in the waiting line. Regardless, every group that was in the haunt somehow ended catching up to one another. They had one teenage female that was petrified of everything so all the monsters kept taking advantage of it, cornering her every chance they got. When they would stop and turn around to go back to their base spots if they even have them there , some of them just walked passed us without any effort towards scaring us.
It was a disaster. She had to of been extremely annoyed by it herself. It took all of the fun out of it. Actors even stopped us in some of the maze portions so the other monsters could entertain their group for quite some time and they would just be staring off into outer space. Besides that, costuming was mostly store-bought quality. Nothing different to look at here. Scenes were the same. There were props and things out there but 0 lights. Come to find out, it looked like a previously closed portion of the trail because when we got to the end of it, there was no way to get back into the maze.
We had to crawl under caution tape to get back in. That right there tells you that no actors were paying any attention to our group. We paid full price for our tickets that night and we honestly should have just passed this place up. The highlights of the trip were the gentleman that introduced us to the park and gave us the rules before we went in. There was also one clown Pickles, maybe?
When that door finally opened, holy shit! That was the best scare in there for sure! Also, constant screaming in some spots was okay but at one point there were a bunch of children in a large area and they were all screaming and it was terrible. Score: 6 out of We had heard many good things about it and we ended up with a free Saturday night so we gave it a shot. We showed up at probably at night. I will say, there were a lot of unique things in the haunt portion. One interactive set was very different and unnerving. Some of the characters were really into their roles while others were bland.
Our favorite part was the alligator! They know how to utilize this now, commonly-seen prop to the fullest for sure! If you are likely to pee your pants, you just might lose it on that one! I would give the house itself a 7 out of Now we were under the impression that the corn field was haunted too. Although it was a good maze, there were three scareactors in it and they were terrible.
No lights, sounds, sets, nothing but mud and corn and the dark. At first it was creepy but after we walked and walked and nothing happened, we were aggravated and ready to find our cars. Score: 7 out of We went on their last night open which was their Black Out Night. Some parts of the trail were very dark and we got disoriented several times. We had a great time! We went to the haunt across the road on the same night and it seemed like this one had more characters but it was hard to tell for sure due to the dark.
Organ trail has grown to a major community event! This is a scary hunted trail but they accommodate the special needs and kids very very well!!! Most importantly this haunted trail is all based off a father seeking memory of his baby boy! Check think out if you want a good scare. This haunted house was so realistic! I loved the actors- especially the first zombie girl when I walked in, she scared me. I also liked the clown and girl in barn thingy.
Overall great haunted attraction. Staff and all the people who put it on are friendly and very helpful. The home haunt itself is terrifying for the amount of space. Maybe have some tee shirts or some merch. Absolutely worth every penny! Donated and gave some canned food in exchange for an amazing experience! My family and I will be back for sure this year, looking constantly on their Facebook at the new posts and updates makes me want to go so bad! My family and I go to Halloween horror nights and we love the event. But this being just down the road from me was awesome. I went all three nights and loved every moment.
Tyler was outside greeting people in character two of the three nights and is very kind and nice to talk to. All the other staff is very friendly and organized. Seems to be a family owner haunt but if not you all look like one big family! They put so much work into it. I go every year…. This place scared me and my family. We all screamed and ran away chainsaws. Very well done clowns screaaaaammm! Great haunt walk through, food drive for local food bank 1- lots of work and very well done!
Features Noticed: Indoor waiting area, Handicap Accessible. Was so fun. Worth it, and the money went to a good cause! Got pretty scary a few times. These people are serious about authenticity and putting right in the middle of red vein legend. This place is the scariest experience EVER!!!
It was a blast! Omg this is the best trail I have ever been through and Drakes house is the best part out of all of this trail the bridges across the creek blowed my mind I have never seen water turn to blood my second favorite was the clown and michale Myers walking around in the parking lot. Me and my family love the trail always something new we go every year and the owners are awesome people!
Great backyard haunt! Low wait times. Great actors, costumes and props! The best haunted house I have been to. My kids loved it and we wanted to get back in line. Good job to all the actors!! They were awesome!!! Great place. This house was beyond amazing.
Haunted House How To Build Your Own Haunted House Articles and Tips
It is the best one I have ever been to, hands down. It is very underpriced!! The actors were so amazing at what they did! The rooms were very creative and well put together. The actors acted accordingly to their room! Overall, this haunted house is definitely one for the books and needs to get itself out there! Whoever manages it, you are amazing at what you do! Definitely will be coming back through next year! Score: 3 out of We all came as a group the beiginning of us arriving and waiting for our ticket name to be called the band was good the dj was great we love Luke Lucifer he was our fav.
Then in the trail we get into the line to get our 3d glasses for the clown house and the older lady that was giving us instructions on when we enter the clown house witch the art work was AMAZING! Features Noticed: Suggestions for the Attraction: When you train your staff make sure you indicate that the guest are there to have fun.
Score: 9 out of After talking to some of the staff, the haunted house is an old gymnasium. Creepy building. Turns out all the staff are unpaid volunteers! The haunted house was very good. I jumped and was actually scared. Then I entered the maze. Absolutely creepy, scary and well done! Indoor waiting area is small, if crowded you might be outside for awhile. Whe had such a fantastic time, iv been to quite a few hunted trails. The place and drive is creepy alone. People touching you makes for a more thrilled night.
Do be aware of the hills and the walk it can definitely be slippery. We know we will definitely be back next year. The new Haunt is amazing. Love the new look and scares. This Haunt is very creative, the scare actors are of all ages and will get you when you let your guard down.
Highly recommend this Haunt. Features Noticed: Handicap Accessible. Has potential to be one of the better haunts in MI. BUT they need to train their actors better, increase the length, and provide more scares. Nothing special here!!! Just a off the beaten path haunt that was not worth the drive. Spent a lot of money for my family. Amazing design!! Makeup, costumes and scenic are through the roof amazing!! Unique story line NO hollywood movie copies here! Best part of the night was seeing 2 people in our group pass out, one after another!!!
These folks get really scary. This place is huge and they have a whole lot of stuff. Cant wait to see what comes next year. Plenty of scare factors in unpredictable places. What an amazing home haunt! So many scares! So many monsters! Amazing detail and all for a great cause. A must see haunt! This was fantastic it is scary, but yet they can tone it down for small children. Trick-or-treating was available. I enjoyed it greatly this is the second year that I went with my family and friends.
I love that they give their money away to charity. Plan on spending time sitting by the fire. Excellent Attraction Cant wait for this years event Love the story line, and the atmosphere sets you up for he scare. Awesome Sauce!!! This haunted house is full of amazing scary characters. Especially chuckles the clown and every year it gets better and better. The scare actors were totally awesome. Literally so scared that by the end of it, I was giggling because I screamed sooooo much.
Amazing great set up great experience they really do a good job to make you feel part of it. Definitely worth going to. It was sweet, props were spot on. Actors gave it their all. I was impressed with the detail. I got to say the lost carnival was prob the weakest to me still enjoyed the scenery,Then came pitch black omg that was the scariest thing I ever experienced when people say that the actors where going to grab you legs THEY WILL.
Then there sector 13 and I loved this one it was my fav that night. I got put on the table and messed with they pulled out a staple gun and at got to me. Then the locked me in a cage for a good while. Looking forward for next year.

Both the acting and the displays were top notch. Everything seems to come together flawlessly as you inch your way through,I. The experience there left me with an impish smile on my face the whole time I was there and continued the whole drive home. I would strongly recommend this trip to anyone! A true local gem! I heard about this haunt through a friend on Facebook. I really liked the promo video they did and had never done a home haunt before.
It was just under 2 hours away so I had to go. When I pulled up I was immediately in love. They had scare actors outside, a neat little queue line and friendly staff. The haunt was absotlely amazing! Super close quarters, fantastic scare actors and an overall amazing experience. I wish I could give them a score of Do not miss this spooky home haunt during the Halloween season!
Dark View was a fun attraction and its near others like Wells Township so you can hit them in the same night. Highly recommended! The scares were plentiful. Awesome place to go if you want a great scare and lots of fun at a really good price. My family and I have been going to Faristons since We have made it our Halloween tradition. I absolutely love the dark atmosphere and the creepy hayride at the beginning of the trail. I especially love how the cast will stand to the side if they see a family with a small child walking towards them. The cast and crew definitely have fun turning a little trail in London KY into a fright night.
They keep it professional and very seldom break character. This was the best haunted house I have ever been to. I went to all the theme park haunts and I say hands down this at home haunted house was far better with more scare and less money. I definitely recommend this one. You have to check it out will be the 3rd year running and every year has topped the year before so I can not wait to see what they have in store this year.

Scares around every corner. Village theme was creepy and awesome! I hear every year is different theme and I am definitely eager to travel another 2 hours this year to check it out!! See you soon. Always the best haunted house around! Never disappoints. Love coming here, but the clowns are overplayed. I was excited to go from the custume pictures from and how spooky it looked. Features Noticed: Suggestions for the Attraction: Have more actors and put a little effort into it and you would have an awesome attraction!
Something scary around every corner with some amazing detail everywhere! They have done an awesome job creating an entire show this terrifying and original, especially for a first year. Cast did a phenomenal job with some truly horrifying characters and makeup. I took my niece and nephew tonight and they got so scared at the end they dropped the 3D glasses in fear of the chainsaw. Great job Dead City, will be back this weekend for more! Also the parking lot is HUGE! Decor was amazing, they really paid attention to detail. The actors stayed in character which was really nice to see since I also work for a haunted attraction as well.
Simply amazing though. Score: 5 out of Last year they were scarier. It seemed the people were just not as into it or into making themselves scary. The zombie chainsaws at the end were the exception. I was seriously bummed. I hope they amp it up in the future or I will be leaving this haunt out. Add more scare areas with the electronics. Change it up a bit! Also the elevator where you get buried would probably be more scary if you were barked farther than your knees.
Half the rides were down. They put us through as a group of eight with one lantern. I was whelmed by the Zombie Hunt and the fun house was meh. Funhouse NOT handicapped accessible at all. Consider that people in wheelchairs might also like to attend. Features Noticed: Suggestions for the Attraction:. Hubby and I truly loved it this year! Classy service. Great set up.
Awesome guide. Convenient location. Features Noticed: Suggestions for the Attraction: Food truck?!! Went a couple of years ago and loved it. Decided to go back and take some friends. So we left and took the loss. We had estimated another hour to hour and a half in line. There were people waiting in line at the bottom of the hill that I know still had 6 hours of waiting.
Super disappointed. I really enjoyed our experience here! Features Noticed: Suggestions for the Attraction: My only complaint would be they need to put up more signs to help you find the place. There were several times we thought we were lost and almost turned around;a sign would have been helpful. The actual Haunted Barn was awesome though!
Maybe add some arrows with glow in the dark paint or something inside to keep people on the right path. There were a few times our group wondered the wrong direction or didnt know where to go. Not a big issue just something to add maybe. We went to 3 haunted houses in one night with this being the last one. We found that we definitely saved the best for last. We loved it from the time we got onto the bus until we walked out through the gift shop! I loved the number of actors and there ability to stay in character!
Not one disappointed me especially when the guy from the last room followed me to the street and scared me to death! From the start the line moved super slow…. I really liked how the exit is set up. Speed up the line. The actors are amazing and it was definitely worth the two hour drive we had to get there! We had a group of 8 and had a blast I really want to bring my family next time. None of the actors did a good job.
The way they have it set up is awful. You go in groups all the groups end up catching up. They scare the first person in each group and ignore the others. Nothings about any of these attractions was remotely scary. Waste of money and time in the freezing cold. I had a blast.. I recommend this attraction to anyone. This haunt was great!
Indoor and outdoor tons of great animatronics! Great characters! Guest Name: Lena W. Visit Date: October 20, Recommended to Friends? I went with a group of 5 and we really had a great time! We screamed, we laughed, we jumped out of our skin. Well worth every penny spent. This place is simply incredible. Family owned and built its definitely much better than any Orlando attraction! The scenes are amazing! This place was one of the most incredible attractions ive visited in my 32 years of life. Sets and Detailing? Ig you can make this season do it you wint regret it. It was on par with some of the much larger attractions I have been to.
The actors were all great, the food was so good and the entire design of the haunt was creative. Will be back for sure! It is very worth it! A bit of a drive from most places, but well worth the trip. Great details and awesome actors!!! It was in the middle of no where, which was pretty creepy. The house was so freakin scary, my friend wet her pants. The paintball was amazing too. We are going back to check their walk out this weekend.
Took the family here and definitely will come back. Loved jigsaw and the nun. Went really well. Amazing actors and detailed haunt. Score: 2 out of I expected more and it was more of a back yard thing for a quick buck. I wish I had not gone, so disappointed. Features Noticed: Suggestions for the Attraction: Get training. Looks like it was thrown together last minute.
It was good this year. I love the attraction, just wish it was scarier like hill of terror use to be. I loved that there were scenes from some of the scariest movies of all times including the new nun movie. Just walking through these woods is creepy enough but you add all the characters it will give you an adrenaline rush time after time. Loved it! It will be a must not miss on our list next year.
What was cool though they provided entertainment in the line while we waited. We actually upgraded our ticket to a fast pass and skipped the lines. Our family has gone every year. This year was incredible. They added so many new things. It took over 30 minutes!! Highly recommend to anyone to visit. Well worth it!! More fast food items from you snack shack like pizza. Score: 1. So as I was online attempting to buy, the drop down menu kept changing the total ticket amount of purchase!! When I told the man at the register, he said there is nothing he can do just to contact ticketleap.
All of which has been going on for over a month! I highly discourage others from using this service or attending Pure terror. Not worth the prices or aggravation. As for the grounds itself, the employees are uninformed and not helpful. It is a full crowd but handled much better and worth the money that is charged unlike Pure Terror. Do not miss the opportunity to visit this limited time attraction annually. This is a must see. Our group had a fabulous time at this attraction. We came on a Saturday night. They were crowded, but the wait time was less than an hour.
They have a fire pit and also a scary movie playing outside as you wait. Plenty of seating, I really liked the fact that you are not standing in a line while you wait. The trail was my favorite part! Lots of good scares! The hayride was also fun. Very scary and fun. Easily the best corn field haunt in the Southeast US. This place has things you would never expect to see in an outdoor haunt.
Special effects, animatronics. Cool story line and creepy actors! Also had a buried alive ride which was really fun! Oh wow we had fun and loved it!

There was a line but it moved fast. We were entertained while we waited and were scared in line. The trail was way worth the money and we were screaming the entire time. We will go again. The best time iv had in years new lay out new scenes from last year and way way better. Imagine the screams of the deceased that just emerged from hell, imagine flesh eating zombies, clowns that are well in your face to say the least imagine being chased through the woods with the thought of death on your mind… this haunt had me running and scared I even remember one girl in our group peed herself it was so scary.
I will go back every year if I can. Best haunt I have been to in awhile. No doubt this is the best haunt in VA! Every year they have a new dedicated story and the sets and actors are movie quality. A fun house type thing and an escape room. Awesome haunted house with 3 attractions for just 20 dollars!
They even have 5 dollars off coupons to make it just 15! Hayride to the Woods was nice instead of walking! Defiantly recommend! Best value for a haunted house in Kentucky and Indiana! Best Haunted House in the state of IL by far! I go every year and it just gets better and better all the time! Well worth the money also! Exciting maze with scares around every corner one of the highlights was for sure the clown by the truck that chased us through the maze, you can also reenter the maze and we had different scares each time.
Overall I would highly recommend going to this maze the actors were well trained and casted and the costume looked amazing. Looking forward to coming back next year to see how much better and bigger it gets! The group at Mountain Empire Community College did it again such a great atmosphere. The screams hear from the parking lot and the old handmade New Orleans style horse drawn hearse.
Definitely recommend anyone to travel to see this haunt. This haunt is absolutely mind-blowing from the set design to the actors incredible ability to interact with the each and every person that walks through the entrance. Haunt on Eden continues to blow my mind each and every year. Features Noticed: Suggestions for the Attraction: Come ready for a scare! Excellent haunt.
Been to several in the area, and this is one of my favorites!!! It will help provide you with a background. This year was my 4th year going. My favorite year was the christmas tree that attacked you. I LOVE it here. But this year i am disappointed. Lots of rooms were exactly the same as last year with very little change in the acting. Maybe a new mask or something simple. That was really upsetting because i spend extra money to skip the lines and when it was the same that made me not so happy about spending more money.
About the zombie maze. The guy was ignorant and i have never had a problem with someone being rude to us. He shoved me and knocked my brother down then yelled at him for running. No one in my group was impressed and it ruined the mood. Overall we had fun but the newbies were disappointed because they said it wasnt as fun as i had explained because it really was not as creative this year. Pavo haunted house is the best haunted house in the entire usa their friendly greet you and also talk to you while your waiting in line i highly recommend going to this haunted house I go every year for the last 6 years.
Waste of time walked from one side of the park to the other and back missing attractions just to return again to visit The one missed. It was a lot of fun and u can interact with the actors. It was spooky and sometimes funny.
I had such a great time but if u want to go to the asylum just know that they will touch u. It is not aggressively. It is just to scare u a little bit. It was a great experience. Overall, unimpressive. I would give it a -5 on the scare scale. Awesome haunt the whole way around. The attractions are among the best and the actors are absolutely amazing. I suggest that everyone come check it out. Guest Name: Becca S. Visit Date: October 19, Recommended to Friends? This is such a fun and scary haunted house! I would reccomend this place to everyone! Love to see a brothers come together and enjoy each other while showing off their skill and passion for the season!
The price was reasonable and the atmosphere was what a trail should be. The trail is relatively short but incorporated some very creative ideas and the actors were appropriate for each scene. Was impressed by the bridges over the creek and the time put into each structure. Look forward to seeing the growth and future success of the trail! The customer service is by far the best I have seen at any attraction! Keep up the good work guys! Excited to watch the trail grow! This attraction was awesome for a first year haunt.
They are a must to check them out and watch them grow over the next few years!! It will make your experience that much better. I almost shit my pants! Features Noticed: Indoor waiting area. Such an awesome haunted attraction. My wife pissed her pants while walking through the Crypt, and someone in the group ahead of me passed out from fright.
I had to bail, it was too scary for me. Kids loved it though. They also are very nice and will actually send someone in the haunt with you if you are too scared to do it yourself. This place has it all. They can even touch you if you wear one of their glow necklaces! There are no congo lines, which makes every house terrifying.
Does anyone know if tickets are available yet? Score: 8. The Pittsford Haunted House is extra fun and spooky! After you buy your ticket, you take a wagon ride through torch-lit woods inhabited by creatures to your destination, the Pittsford Haunted House. The wagons have covers too. You then enter the second waiting area which has food concession on each end. The tour through the house s is guided. The floor is uneven and you go up and down levels, so bear that in mind.
The houses are inhabited by all manner of spooky and creepy beings. On exiting, you can take a wagon back to the parking area right away, or grab a snack and a T-shirt or hat. This local farm turns into a nightmare at sundown. Weather was great, and the farm had random bonfires for chilly customers. Their line walkers were the best time, because they all had individual personalities. Check them out! I havent been here in a few years but tonight I returned and the hayride is a complete dud with two scenes one way to long chainsaw stop and the other you exit the wagon, but the walkthrough is def well worth it and the clowns are also a dud.
The employees seem to not understand manners at this place and the clowns without masks on had attitudes. The ones with masks on were creepy they just need to interact more then just stand there. I would def recommend this place for the walkthrough alone because they had tons of masks and many actors!! We had a decent time! The room is physically too small for 6 people to actively participate. The atmosphere was good. Features Noticed: Suggestions for the Attraction: The hotel room needs written clues.
This attraction is a fun evening for all who attend. For being only their second year of operation they are doing a fantastic job. I can see that the owner Rodney Geffert has improved and added things since his opening in Love the fire pit. So much detail was placed into every aspect of the house! Lots of jump scares. Great costumes. Loved the shrinking hallway! The theatre! Loved every room!
Loved the 3D interaction. Small but nearly perfect haunt. Scares that only million dollar haunts are able to pull off. Perfectly themed. I would have bought a Hoodie and pin. Amazing decorations! Guest Name: Sadee F. Visit Date: October 13, Recommended to Friends? This was fun and scary.
The wait was about a hour long even though we had fast pass, but it was worth it. The sets were amazing and the actors were the best I have seen in a haunted attraction. They have 4 different haunted themes and you can trek when one ends and the next one starts very easily. Loved the scares and the story line behind the rooms. Amazing we will be back next year again. I went tonight and the haunted hillside def has potential to be a great haunt. Love all the scarecrow masks and how they put people on the ground that move.
But they definitely have a lot of open spots with no one at all around. Also never go on a night it just rained or has rained recently, we were sinking down in that mud soo much I hit right into a tree from sliding and its super slippery. They do a great job with the scarecrows just do not have a lot of actors at all. Seem to reuse the same ones in each scene and bunch a ton of the actors together. The hayride is crap at the end they do not have one person scaring anyone. Its just a ride back to your car.
Had a blast, something for everyone. Actors were scary and the scenes were cool. Traveling from Cincinnati to Louisville to experience this was a bit let down after visiting The Waverly Hills Sanatorium. The Waverly Hills Sanatorium is a recommended visit ,quick to get in and long enough to be entertaining. The Devils Attic was the opposite of this 3 hours in line bought the normal ticket. This attraction needs to fix the wait time vs show time, balance the fast pass to possible 2 to 1 regular ticket. Features Noticed: Suggestions for the Attraction: Needs work on the waiting time, remove the fast pass ticket sales.
We visited Saturday night, drove 2 hours to get there. This was our first time visiting this attraction — we saw they were ranked 1 must see here so thought we would check it out. The line was HUGE but we have waited two hours before for a downstate haunt so no big deal. Line took about an hour. It starts with a hayride that takes you to the haunts, then you take a trail back to the front of the event. The hayride was quick but a good way to get you excited with a couple of unexpected surprises.
They managed to scare everyone in our group several times, and for half the price of haunts south of them it was WELL worth the price. We will be back for sure!! All outdoors, in real woods. Very dark. Great actors. Had the most fun being scared ever!!! Intricate details at each haunt, fantastic costumes, makeup and actors!! Love this place!! This place is the best!! We stopped by after their zombie fest, which was awesome in its self!
The place was packed. We made a trip up from Knoxville and will be back for more. Better price and better haunt than most Knoxville haunts. The cage girl was the best! Well worth the drive and money. They have 7 houses that you can visit in any order. They have outside actors to keep you entertained while waiting in line. You could easily spend a couple of hours of having fun here. Definitely wanna go back this year!!!!! Dates: Sept. The attraction is open from 7 p. This haunted attraction is back for a second year. You could spend a day at the Ren Fest, and your evening at this haunted attraction!
